Naver is the one of the biggest serching engine company in Korea. It achieved great success now. Their business purpose is to make that people find what they wanted. They give much informations that news, café in, shopping for knowledge. Average visiting people is 16 million per day. Naver is like the Google in Korea.

Purpose of Company

Make it Easy and Comfortable for people to find what they want.
Be a Global company with their Internet service skills and technology.

Starting of Company

Their motivation was that they should be the best searching engine for Korean in Korea. They give service of e-mail, home-page, file and game with good quality for free to people.

Differenciation

Naver specialized each section like cartoon, news, image, and knowledge sections. As they arrange their information, people easily find what they wanted. They give chances that people can share their idea which is called Ji-Sic In. They knew the comfortable color for the people that are green, and they use the green as their web skin. It also indicate their visual identifier as their image. This image worked as their visual branding.

My Opinion

Naver is the best searching engine in Korea. When I compared with other searching engine companies in Korea, service is pretty different. It is much comfortable to find the information what I want. They had specialized many interesting categories for kids and adults, such as cartoon, sports news, global news, best books for this month, and review for new movie. Their differentiation pretty matched with people’s taste. They hit with their creativity idea about sharing people’s idea in the internet.
